Our team is spearheaded by a very knowledgeable and highly experienced management team as follows:

John Daiza, President & CEO of GRD – (San Diego, CA), has provided leadership in the energy and power industry for over 25 years and has significant international experience. He has extensive management expertise, including business development, project management, strategic planning, contract management, corporate restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, and construction and operations (asset) management. He has been a senior level executive affiliated with such distinguished firms as General Electric, Ahlstrom Development Corp., BP Chemicals, Consumers Power Co., and Mosbacher Power Group. Mr. Daiza was also one of the co-founders (and managing partner) of International Power Partners, a very successful developer, owner and operator of power stations and high-tech equipment for the energy/power industry throughout the world. He has successfully developed several power projects on non-recourse financed basis & structured/negotiated a number of highly leveraged and profitable JV’s, M&A’s, strategic alliances, and licensing agreements with a number of multinational companies. He is regularly sought after as speaker at a number of conferences and symposia. Mr. Daiza received his bachelors in Physics from the University of Michigan (in 1977) and has done extensive graduate work at Northwestern University and has participated in executive management seminars and workshops at Harvard University.

Bob Bahrami, Chief Operating Officer (COO) and General Manager of GRD - (Turlock, CA), has over 30 years of experience in a wide variety of Civil Engineering and Project Management fields and disciplines, with extensive international experience. Core expertise includes general contracting, project management, cost estimating, capital and cost control management, contract management, general management, hands-on planning and scheduling, budgeting, cost estimating, process and methods analysis, progress monitoring, earned-value, labor performance analysis and production standards. Successful land developer of a wide variety of assets including greenfield development and acquisition and management of commercial and industrial properties. Demonstrated expertise in the energy/power/oil & gas sector as well as transportation and construction industries. Education and professional credentials: BS, Civil Engineering, from Mosul University, Iraq (in 1970). Mr. Bahrami is also a certified license ‘A’ California General Contractor.
